Mr. Roy Winford Williams of Wingo, KY died Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah,KY.
He was a retired master sergeant with the U.S. Air Force where he
served in Korea and Vietnam and then he retired from Chevron Oil Company as a research technician. He was a member of the East Bay Blazer Bowlers in Biola, CA and was also a member of The National Bowling Association and the Pacesetter Bowlers, both in Paducah, KY.
He had lived in Vallejo, CA and Hickman Co., KY.
He is survived by his wife Janet (Thomas) Williams of Wingo, KY, a
step daughter Bridget Walker of Fulton, KY; 3 sons Paul Williams of Indianapolis, IN, Wendell Williams and Barton Williams, both of Biola, CA; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Andrew Williams Rolla and
Lauretta Willingham Anthony and a brother Edgar Russell Williams.
Funeral services for Mr. Roy Williams will be held at 9AM Monday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in Mounds City National Cemetery in Mounds IL.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 7PM Sunday and after 8AM Monday until the funeral hour.
