She was a member of the Jacksonville Free Will Baptist Church and was also a member of the Mother's Board Missionary. She had been a food service worker for the Detroit Public School System. She had moved to this area 16 years ago from Detroit, Michigan.
She is survived by a sister - Mrs. Ruth Curd of South Fulton, TN, 2 nephews - James H. (Robbie) Johnson , Aaron Thomas (Annette)Johnson , all of South Fulton, TN and a niece - Mary Louise Joy of South Fulton, TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband - Sanders Boyd, her
parents Elizabeth (Maddox) & Aaron Morris, a sister- Mrs. Lynetta Johnson, a great nephew - James "Jamie" Johnson II.
