Russell Lee Moore

June 21, 1925 — December 21, 2009

Mr. Moore died December 21,2009 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield,KY.

He was of Baptist faith and was a U.S. Army veteran having served in
World War II. He had been a truck operator for South Fulton Lime and Fertilizer. He had lived in Fulton,KY and South Fulton,TN.

He is survived by his daughter Helen I. Crittendon of South Fulton, TN and a son Carl W. Fortner of Greenbrier, TN, seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and numerous great great grandchildren. Three
sisters, Lula Mae Lane, Virginia McCoy and Frances Fortner, all of
Fulton, KY, and a brother Ardie B. Moore also of Fulton,KY.

He was preceded in death by his wife Furn Overby Fortner Moore in 1985, his parents Julia Lena (French) and William Thomas Moore, a son Joseph Fortner, a grandson, five brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am December 24,2009 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-9 pm on Wednesday, (Dec. 23)and
after 8 am on Thursday until the funeral hour.
