Mrs. Shirlene Kearby, age 84, of Fulton, KY died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Haws Memorial Nursing Home.
Shirlene was a former member of the Bible Union Missionary Baptist Church in Martin,TN, was a native of Weakley County,TN and was a resident of Louisville, KY for 39 years before returning to Fulton in 1999. She an artist and also a musician where she played for many churches and quartets.
She is survived by her husband Jennings Kearby of Fulton, KY, a daughter and son in law Cynthia (Kearby) and Bob Scheffler of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren Erin Scheffler and Ian Scheffler of Chicago, IL and a sister
Rosetta McWherter of Martin,TN.
She was preceded in death by her father Shirley Vinson and her mother and step father Luretha (Westerman) Vinson Bynum and Milburn Bynum, and a step sister Susie Morris.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday at the Bible Union Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Bible Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 7 PM Friday.
