Mr. Thomas E. Hancock, age 78, of Fulton,KY died January 26, 2012 at the Parkway Regional Hospital -E.R. in Fulton.
He was a member of the Mt. Zion Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean War, was a member of the American Legion and Roberts Lodge #172. He was also a retired farmer and truck driver and he had lived in this area all of
his life.
He is survived by his wife Christine (Williams) Hancock of Fulton, whom he married August 31, 1963, a son Tommy Hancock of Fulton, KY and a step daughter Diann Sheppard of Fulton, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren and a brother Junior Hancock of Sikeston, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents Beulah May (Fite) and John
Soloman "Sol" Hancock, an infant son John Thomas Hancock, and
two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday,Jan. 29 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and interment will be in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Saturday and anytime after 8 am on Sunday until the funeral hour.
