Thomas Raymond Reisinger

Thomas R. Reisinger, 77, of Hickman, KY was called home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2021.  He passed away at Van Ayer Healthcare & Rehab in Martin, TN

He was born on June 12, 1943 to the late Joseph and Lenore Reisinger in Sparta, Wisconsin and was of the Roman Catholic faith.

He received his formal education in the Sparta Schools and was a three sport athlete at Sparta High School for 1957 to 1961.  Shortly thereafter, he was called for active duty with the Wisconsin National Guard in the Berlin Crisis and served two years with the National Guard.

He was known for his love of sports and was an avid golfer, spending many hours on the course with his golfing buddies.  He later built and operated TR’s Racquetball Club while also working for Reisinger Heating and Air Conditioning.  He worked in the family business for 35 years.

In 2009 he relocated to Hickman and lived with his love and companion, Mary Phipps until his passing.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim, Bob and Joe; dear friends, Mel Johnson and Bud Breslin.

Thomas leaves to cherish his memory his brother, David (Pat) of Colfax, WI; special nephew, Robb Reisinger (Laura) of Menomonee, WI, along with many nieces and nephews; special friend, Paul Champagne of Hickman; lifelong friends, Jerry Berendes of Phoenix, AZ, John Obert, Jerry Vettres, Carl Becker, Bill Hyde and Clark Wanlass, all of Sparta, WI and his devoted love and champion, Mary Phipps of Hickman.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P. M. on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the Hickman City Cemetery with Rev. Tom Quimby officiating.
