Thomas Fred Winter

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton, KY. He was a member and was past president of the Friends of the Municipal Cemeteries of Fulton and had retired from U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer. He was a mason & member of the Roberts Lodge #172. He had lived in this area most of his life.

He is survived by 3 nieces: Lucy Winter Johnson & Mary Winter Ermis,both of Union City, TN and Betty Jennings Lindberg of New Mexico. 5 nephews: Gregory Lee Jones of Alaska, David C. Jones of Africa, Daniel Thomas Jennings of Maine, F.D. (Dick) Winter - Lieutenant Colonel United States Army Retired of Yorktown,VA and Michael R. Dennington of Memphis, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents - George Winter, Sr. and Effie Lou (Patton) Winter, a brother - George Winter, Jr. and 2 sisters: Janie Elizabeth Jennings and Kathleen Winter Jones.

Masonic services will be held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday (6/16)in our funeral chapel with a memorial service to follow with Dr. Tim Atkins & Milton Winter officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Saturday until the hour of service.
