Thomas Fred Winter

February 14, 1926 — June 10, 2007

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton, KY. He was a member and was past president of the Friends of the Municipal Cemeteries of Fulton and had retired from U.S. Navy as a chief petty officer. He was a mason & member of the Roberts Lodge #172. He had lived in this area most of his life.

He is survived by 3 nieces: Lucy Winter Johnson & Mary Winter Ermis,both of Union City, TN and Betty Jennings Lindberg of New Mexico. 5 nephews: Gregory Lee Jones of Alaska, David C. Jones of Africa, Daniel Thomas Jennings of Maine, F.D. (Dick) Winter - Lieutenant Colonel United States Army Retired of Yorktown,VA and Michael R. Dennington of Memphis, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents - George Winter, Sr. and Effie Lou (Patton) Winter, a brother - George Winter, Jr. and 2 sisters: Janie Elizabeth Jennings and Kathleen Winter Jones.

Masonic services will be held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday (6/16)in our funeral chapel with a memorial service to follow with Dr. Tim Atkins & Milton Winter officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Saturday until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church 200 Carr Street Fulton, KY 42041 or to the Fulton Public Library 312 Main Street Fulton, KY 42041.
