Virginia Bridges died Friday, July 31, 2009 at the Haws Memorial Rehab & Nursing Facility in Fulton,KY.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton,KY and was a homemaker. She had also lived in South Fulton, TN and had been a
longtime resident of Orlando, Florida before moving to this area.
She is survived by her son John C. Bridges II of Springfield, TN and 2 grandchildren Jill Lowry and Keith Bridges and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband John C. "Jack" Bridges,
her parents Tom and Ninnie (Mantle) Rutherford and a sister Mary Turk.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery in Springfield, TN. There will be no visitation or services held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Friends and family may meet at the cemetery for services.
Memorials may be made to the Haws Memorial Rehab and Nursing Facility, 1004 Holiday Lane, Fulton, KY 42041.
