Walter R. Lawrence

Mr. Walter R. Lawrence, age 84, of Water Valley, KY
passed away Monday. March 27, 2023 at the Mercy Health
Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.

He was born on October 18, 1938 in Beecher City, IL to
the late Kermit and Berniece Devore Lawrence.

He was a member of the Bayou de Chein Cumberland Presbyterian
Church and had worked for the former Oliver Tractor and 
World Color Press. Walter was an Oliver Tractor enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Roberts Lawrence, whom
he married June 17, 1961, a daughter Becky Caldwell of Union City,
TN, two grandchildren: Ashley (Brad) Turner of Paducah, KY and 
Zach (Brittany) Faulkner of Elizabethtown, KY, six great-grandchildren:
Joey McGuirk of Wickliffe, KY, Ireland McGuirk of Paducah, KY,
Sloan McGuirk of Paducah, KY, Cambell McGuirk of Paducah, KY,
Mackenzie Faulkner and Matthew Faulkner both of Elizabethtown, KY, 
a brother Wayne (Linda) Lawrence of Water Valley, KY, two sisters:
Janet (James) Donaldson of Altamont, IL and Bonnie (Steve) Watkins of 
Dieterich, IL. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son Roger (Chip)
Lawrence and a brother, Jim Lawrence. 

Graveside services will be held at 1PM Thursday, March 30, 2023 at
the Hubbard Cemetery in Beecher City, IL. Visitation will be held at the
Hornbeak Funeral Chapel from 4-6PM Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

Memorials may be made to Bayou de Chein Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
