Mrs. Wanda Sue Yates, age 85, of the Pilot Oak Community died Monday, September 26, 2016 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.
She was a member of the Bethlehem Methodist Church where she was a
Sunday School teacher for 65 years. She was a homemaker and lived all of her life in this area.
Mrs. Yates is survived by her husband, William D. Yates, whom she married March 13, 1951, a son, William D. (Beverly) Yates, Jr , a grandson, William Everett Yates all of Water Valley, KY, a daughter, Wanda Lanell (Ronnie) Galloway of Sedalia, KY, and a brother Walter Thomas Tucker of Gladwin, MI.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Carnell Moore Tucker.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM Thursday at the Bethlehem Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 11AM Thursday until the hour of service.
