Mr. William H. Casey, age 92, of Hickman died Wednesday morning, September 21,2016 at his residence.
He was of the Presbyterian faith and was a member of the VFW Post 4862, a life time member of the Shrine Temple in East St. Louis, Cairo Lodge #237 and the Hickman Rotary Club. Mr. Casey was a retired Engineer for the Illinois Central Railroad, he lived in Cairo, IL most of his life and moved to Hickman, KY in 1981.
He was a United States Navy veteran where he served in World War II, aboard the USS Chester.
Mr. Casey is survived by his companion, Juanita Council of Hickman, KY, a nephew Kevin Casey and his wife Catherine Casey of Ft. Worth, TX, a niece Linda Wexler and her husband Walt Wexler of Paducah, KY.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William H. Casey, Sr and Florence Elizabeth Richardson Casey, a brother James Lewis Casey and three aunts; Clara Hartley, Sarah Danby and Mary Atwood.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 AM Saturday until the hour of service.
