He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton KY. He was a lifelong farmer and retired tool and dye maker. He was also
former co-owner of Parkway Manor Nursing Home in Fulton, KY.
He lived his life in Michigan, Fulton- South Fulton area and Water Valley. He was an inactive Deacon of First Baptist Church in Fulton KY, Past Commander of the American Legion and an Avid Bird Hunter. He was a veteran serving in the US Air Force serving in WWII as a Corporal and M.P.
He is survived by his wife of 62 yrs,Goldie Baird Hutchins of
Water Valley, KY. 2 daughters and son in laws,Lana and Kenny
Thurmond and Paula and Billy Vassar all of South Fulton TN.
2 sons and daughter-in-laws, Denny and Cissy Hutchins and David and Kim Hutchins, all of South Fulton,TN; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A sister-Gladys Cash of Fulton KY. 5 brothers- W.B. (Dub) Hutchins of Mayfield KY, James Gilliam Hutchins of Wingo KY, Roscoe Hutchins of Fulton KY, Weldon
Hutchins and Earl Hutchins, both of Wingo KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents- Vester and Ora Coplen Hutchins. 3 sisters:Ethel Poole, Frances Hayden and Esther Jones, and 1 grandson.
Funeral services for Mr. Bill Hutchins will be held at 1 pm Tuesday (6/5) in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be on Monday from 5-8 and anytime Tuesday until the funeral hour. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church
