She was a member of the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Fulton, KY and she had been a former member of the church choir, pianist,trustee, finance secretary, youth leader; NAACP secretary, Served on board of Ken-Tenn Homecoming Committee, Human Rights Committee, Member of Jacksonville Order of the Eastern Star #85 for over 53 years and
served as Worthy Matron, secretary & treasurer, also served as Treasurer of District 7-B Order of Eastern Stars and was a Civil Leader. She had also
been the former cafeteria manager for the South Fulton High School.
She is survived by 2 sons: Robert (Bobbie) William Sisson of South Fulton,TN and Willis James Sisson of Gary, IN. 2 daughters: Bettye Jean (William)Thomas of Martin, TN and Beatrice Wilcox of South Fulton,TN. 2 sisters:
Ella (Hoover) Nunley of Dresden, TN and Olga A. Hart of Martin, TN.
2 brothers: Paul Hart of San Jose, CA and Thomas E. (Mary) Hart of Clinton, Iowa. 20 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren & several
great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband- Robert W. Sisson, her parents-Earlene (Jones) and Willie Mosel Hart, 3 sisters: Pearl Hart Young, Bessie
Lee Hart, Marie Ingram, 3 brothers - Eugene Franklin Hart, Ivory Hart & Quentus Hart.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sisson will be held at 1 pm Saturday(2/17,2007) at the Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist Church - 500 Mears Street in Fulton, KY. Visitation will be at the church from 11 am Saturday until the funeral hour.
Masonic services will be held at 12:30.
