Willis Franklin Hayden, 80, of South Fulton, died Saturday at
Northbrooke Health Care in Jackson, Tn.
He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army where he served in the
Korean Conflict, a retired engineer of the Illinois Central Railroad
where he had been employed for 47 years and had lived in the
area since 1968.
He is survived by two daughters, Trudy Peters, Paducah, Ky.,
Amy Overbay, Nashville, Tn. and two sons, Ted Hayden, Memphis,
Tn., and Tim Hayden, Jackson, Tn. and also seven grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose Hayden, to whom he was
married for 57 years, his parents, Herbert Leon and Joyce Eleanor
Goza Hayden and one sister, Kay Hayden Hays.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at
Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. A private entombment will follow at
Obion County Memorial Gardens Masoleum.
